Service Fees

Clinical psychologists at Milestones Psychology set their fees independently.

Fees range from $122.15 to $150 per consultation (50-60 min).

All fees are payable at the time of consultation via cash, cheque, or EFTPOS.

HICAPS refunds, and Medicare Easyclaim are available. This means if you are entitled to a rebate through Medicare or your health fund, your psychologist may be able to process your claim at our office.

Medicare Rebates

If you have been referred by your GP (under a Mental Health Treatment Plan), paediatrician, or psychiatrist you will be eligible for a rebate through Medicare.

The current rebate for a 50-60 minute clinical psychology consultation is $122.15.

Please note that only certain problems qualify for a Medicare referral and referrals are at the discretion of your GP. For more information on Medicare referrals, speak to your GP, or see the following Medicare Fact Sheet:

Private Health Insurance Claims

Alternatively, you may wish to claim a rebate through your private health insurance.

Please check eligibility for psychology services with your health insurance provider prior to attending your first appointment.

Please note you cannot claim through Medicare and your private health fund for the same appointment. However, if you have used your Medicare sessions for the year, you might then wish to access your private health rebates.
