Clinical Psychology

Clinical psychologists are specialists in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of psychological and mental health problems. They work with children, adolescents, and adults, and are trained to provide a range of evidence-based techniques and therapies. Clinical psychologists use psychological theory and research to provide a tailored intervention for each client.

All clinical psychologists at Milestones Psychology have completed either a Masters, Doctorate, or PhD in Clinical Psychology, as well as ongoing professional development and skills training. They are highly qualified and experienced health care providers who have demonstrated expertise in the treatment of a wide variety of mental health concerns and work collaboratively with other treating health professionals, such as General Practitioners (GPs), to ensure that clients receive optimal care.

Assessment & Report Writing

Some of our specialist psychologists may complete assessments and reports as part of your referral, or treatment plan. This may involve completing questionnaires, or various testing activities, interviews with teachers and parents, and completing observations. Your psychologist will discuss these options with you, and any costs involved.
